Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of our website and bookings completed through our partner. Please read them carefully before scheduling service.

1) Who We Are & Our Role

Hot Tub Removal Plus (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website to help you get transparent pricing and book removal services quickly. We partner with independent, third-party service providers (“Providers”) to perform on-site work. We also work with a booking and fulfillment partner to show real-time pricing/availability, coordinate local crews, process payments, and provide order tracking.

We are not a municipal waste service or carrier and we do not provide utility disconnections. By placing an order, you acknowledge that on-site services are performed by independent Providers and that additional terms presented during booking by our partner may also apply.

2) Eligibility & Acceptable Use

  • You are at least 18 years old and reside in the United States or its territories.
  • You own, or have authority to dispose of, any items scheduled for removal.
  • You’ll use this site only through interfaces we provide, and you’ll not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the site.
  • You’ll follow all applicable laws and avoid requesting services for prohibited/hazardous items.

3) Quotes, Orders & Pricing

Prices you see online are calculated from details you provide (location, item size, access, scheduling, etc.). If the actual conditions differ from what was entered (e.g., stairs, narrow gates, long carries, larger items, additional pieces), the price may change. Taxes, disposal fees, surcharges, or other government-imposed costs may also apply where required by law.

Availability, descriptions, and pricing may change. We may decline or cancel orders (for example, due to availability changes, suspected fraud, or errors) and will communicate options whenever possible.

4) Payment & Authorization

You authorize charges to the payment method provided at booking. To accommodate adjustments associated with your service (for example, verified access differences or add-ons), you authorize us or our partner to securely retain your payment method for up to 120 days after service and to bill for any permitted, itemized changes disclosed during or after performance. You represent you are the authorized user of the payment method and that all information you provide is accurate.

Tips are voluntary and, if offered through the booking flow, are passed to Providers subject to processor fees and applicable law.

5) Rescheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows

You can reschedule before your service window, subject to availability. Cancellations may incur a fee to cover scheduling and routing costs. Unless different terms are shown in the booking flow, our standard fees are:

  • Advance cancellation: 20% if cancelled more than 24 hours before your service window.
  • Late cancellation: 50% if cancelled within 24 hours of your service window or after a reschedule.
  • No-show / not ready: If your presence is required and you are unavailable, or the site is not prepared for safe removal, a no-show or trip fee may apply.

If our partner displays different cancellation terms during booking, those presented terms will govern for that order.

6) Service Windows & Delays

We coordinate Providers to arrive within a chosen window, but some delays are outside anyone’s control (weather, traffic, disposal facility queues, equipment issues). We’ll communicate updates and reschedule as needed.

7) Access, Preparation & Disassembly

  • Utilities: For safety, utilities must be disconnected before pickup. We do not perform electrical/plumbing disconnections. For hardwired units, contact a licensed electrician.
  • Clear path: Please measure gates/doors, secure pets, and clear a safe 36″ path where feasible. Note stairs, narrow turns, deck openings, or long carries during booking.
  • On-site sectioning: When access is tight, Providers may section large items as necessary, subject to site conditions.

8) Refusal of Service

Orders may be declined or halted if conditions are unsafe or unsanitary; the distance from parking is excessive; items are infested; or removal risks property damage that you do not accept. If you request Providers to proceed after being advised of risk, you may be asked to acknowledge responsibility for that decision.

9) Items, Disposal & Environmental Practices

Providers make reasonable efforts to dispose of items responsibly and to recycle where facilities accept materials. However, we cannot guarantee donation or recycling in every locality due to capacity, contamination, or facility limitations.

10) Accounts & Security

If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential and promptly update any outdated information. You’re responsible for activity under your account and agree to notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.

11) Partner & Third-Party Terms

Our booking embed and certain features are provided by third parties (including our booking/fulfillment partner). Those providers may present additional terms and privacy notices during checkout that apply to their services and to your relationship with the independent Provider. We are not responsible for third- party sites, policies, or actions.

12) Service Issues & Claims

Because on-site work is performed by independent Providers, service-related issues (including property damage claims) are typically resolved directly with the Provider. If something isn’t right, contact us promptly so we can facilitate a connection. To promote timely resolution, we ask that you notify us within 14 days of service with: order date, order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos where applicable.

You can start this process via our Contact page or by calling (800) HOT-TUBS.

13) Intellectual Property

This site and its content (logos, text, graphics) are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the site as intended. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or reuse materials without permission.

Copyright/DMCA Notices

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, please send a notice with (a) your physical or electronic signature, (b) identification of the work, (c) the URL of the allegedly infringing material, (d) your contact info, (e) a good-faith statement that use is unauthorized, and (f) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized agent. Submit via our Contact page or by mail to your legal address. Add your designated DMCA agent name/address/email here once ready.

14) Indemnity & Release

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hot Tub Removal Plus, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or violation of law.

To the extent permitted by law, you release Hot Tub Removal Plus from claims arising from the acts or omissions of independent Providers. This paragraph does not waive any non-waivable consumer rights.

15) Disclaimers

The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

16) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hot Tub Removal Plus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim related to an order or to these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid to us for the order at issue.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitation will apply to the maximum extent permitted.

17) Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Before filing a claim, you and we agree to try to resolve disputes informally. If we can’t resolve a dispute, it will be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Either party may bring qualifying matters in small claims court.

  • Class/Representative Actions: You and we agree to arbitrate only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.
  • Jury Trial Waiver: If a dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, both sides waive any right to a jury trial.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. and the state where Hot Tub Removal Plus is headquartered, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.

18) Electronic Communications & Calls/Text

By providing contact information, you consent to receive service-related emails, texts, and calls from us, our partner, and/or Providers, which may be sent via automated systems. Message/data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential marketing messages using the provided instructions; doing so may affect your ability to receive certain service updates.

19) Changes, Severability & Headings

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective upon posting. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Headings are for convenience only.
